Innis Mhor: There is a service in the care home at 3pm today taken by Mr Andrew Durrand
Evening Prayer Group: This meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.This short prayer meeting that takes place before the evening service is currently under review. We need more people to attend if this meeting is to continue.

Bible Study Group: The Bible Study Group meets at 7.30pm in the home of James and Murdina. We begin a new study on the Letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation. The first study is an introduction looking at Revelation 1:9-20.
Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery is at 7pm in the church hall.
Tain Lunch Club: Tain Lunch Club meets at mid-day in the church hall. Team 5 on duty.
Midweek Meeting : Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study is in the Tain hall at 7:30pm.
Casan Beaga: Casan Beaga (Parent and Toddlers) resumes today at 10am with a visit to Craighill Nursery.
Prayer Group: Prayer Group meet as usual at David and Anne’s home at 11am.
Health Centre Clean-Up: The annual clean-up around the old Health Centre will take place this Saturday 2nd November from 10am. If you would like to help but can’t manage that date, speak to the minister
Property Upkeep Fund: There will be a collection at the close of next Sunday’s services for the Property Upkeep Fund.

Congregational Directory:If you have not yet checked your proposed entry in the new congregational bulletin, please try and do that today. The draft copy will be through in the hall.
Highland Foodbank: There will be an opportunity to donate food to the Highland Foodbank during the month of October. Items requested this time are :- Long Life Juice, Tins of potatoes, Tins of mince/stew, Oatcakes/Crackers, Tins Ham, Shower gel/ shampoo. Boxes will be at the church doors for any contributions.
2020 Calendars: The Fundraising calendars for 2020 are available in the hall priced at £5. Notelets are also available. Please put your payment in the blue moneybox.
Blythswood Appeal: Leaflets are available at the door for this year’s Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Completed boxes can be brought to the church or handed in to a Blythswood shop before the end of October.
New Church Project: The Deacons Court intend to provide an update on the new church plans in next week’s bulletin.
Extra Communion Weekend: The Kirk-Session agreed to introduce an additional communion in Hilton in mid-March each year. This will be done in-house by our own ministers, similar to the January communion in Tain. It will, however, be an evening communion and there will not be a Saturday evening service.
Youth Café Party: The Youth Café are hosting a Light Party on Friday, 1st November from 7pm – 8:30pm. Scary costumes are not allowed. Entry is £2.
Health Centre Clean-Up: The annual clean-up around the old Health Centre will take place on Saturday 2nd November from 10am. If you would like to help but can’t manage that date, speak to the minister.
Youth Cafe AGM: The AGM will take place on Monday 4th November at 7.30 pm. It will include the official opening of the Elizabeth Hood Training suite and a presentation by those who went to London for the YMCA 175th Anniversary event.
Women for Mission: This meets on Tuesday, November 5th at 2:30 pm in Tain Church hall. Muriel Macleod will speak on the subject, “Can God …?” All ladies are invited. There will be tea, coffee and a sales table
Cheques: All cheques must now be made payable to – Tain and Fearn Free Church of Scotland.
Please do not put “Building Fund” on the cheque as the bank has changed its rules and will now return it. If you wish a cheque to go towards the Building Fund – please make that clear on the envelope.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3 recording sent via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on email@example.com stating which sermon you would like.
CDs can be ordered using the forms in the vestibule.
Alternatively you can listen to the morning sermons on the church YouTube channel. Morning sermons are usually added to our YouTube channel on Sunday afternoons. Some evening sermons are now being added.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order. Anyone who sets up a new Standing Order should also let the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier know that they have done so. Free-Will Envelopes: There are envelopes available for those who would like to use this method to donate to the church. Please speak to the treasurer, Donald Beaton or the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier.
Meanwhile, the Deacons Court would also urge anyone who pays tax to consider signing a Gift Aid form. This allows the church to get an additional 25% from the government, on any donations you make.
