Women for Mission: All ladies are very warmly invited to a meeting of the WFM in Tain Free Church this afternoon at 2:30pm. (see note below)
Northern Presbytery: Northern Presbytery will meet in Brora at 7:30pm.
Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery is at 7pm in the church hall.
Tain Lunch Club: Tain Lunch Club meets at mid-day in the church hall. Team 1 on duty.
Midweek Meeting : Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study in the hall at 7:30pm.
Casan Beaga: Casan Beaga (Parent and Toddlers) meet in the hall at 10.00am.

New Church Fund: There is a collection at the close of both services next Sunday for the New Church Fund.

Dornoch Meeting: At the midweek meeting in Dornoch Free Church this Wednesday, Adam will give an update on the work that he is involved in. That meeting will be at 7:30pm.
Women for Mission: All ladies are very warmly invited to a meeting of the WFM in Tain Free Church on Tuesday, 1st October at 2:30pm. This month’s speaker will be Florica Stewart from Maryburgh. Tea and coffee will be provided and there will also be a sales table.
Congregational Directory: Final proofing of the Congregational Directory is currently underway. You will be asked to check your own entry to ensure the details are correct. In addition, anyone who is 13 or older, must sign to give consent for their detail to be shared. If you are new to the congregation and you wish your details to be entered in the new directory, please ask for a form that you can complete.
Highland Foodbank: There will be an opportunity to donate food to the Highland Foodbank during the month of October. Items requested this time are :- Long Life Juice, Tins of potatoes, Tins of mince/stew, Oatcakes/Crackers, Tins Ham, Shower gel/ shampoo. Boxes will be at the church doors for any contributions.
2020 Calendars: The Fundraising calendars for 2020 are available in the hall priced at £5. Notelets are also available. Please put your payment in the blue moneybox.
Praise Night: There will be a praise night in Dingwall Free Church with the Highland Gospel Male Voice Choir and others, on Friday 4th October at 7pm. There will be a collection for the Haven Appeal which seeks to help people with severe learning disabilities.
Rosskeen Ladies Meeting: The Rosskeen Ladies Meeting is on Monday 7th October in Rosskeen Free Church hall at 7.30 p.m. The speaker is Judith Munro who will speak on “Dementia and Our Living Hope”.
Book Launch: Highland Theological College in conjunction with Christian Focus Publications will host a book launch and public lecture on the mind and faith of St Columba of Iona. This will be in Dingwall Free Church on Monday 7th October at 7:30pm.
Bible Study Group: The next Bible Study is scheduled for Tuesday 8th October at 7.30 pm, at David and Anne’s house, 10 Duthac Wynd. The passage for study is James 5:12-20.
Cheques: All cheques must now be made payable to – Tain and Fearn Free Church of Scotland.
Please do not put “Building Fund” on the cheque as the bank has changed its rules and will now return it. If you wish a cheque to go towards the Building Fund – please make that clear on the envelope.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3 recording sent via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on email@example.com stating which sermon you would like.
CDs can be ordered using the forms in the vestibule.
Alternatively you can listen to the morning sermons on the church YouTube channel. Morning sermons are usually added to our YouTube channel on Sunday afternoons. Some evening sermons are now being added.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order. Anyone who sets up a new Standing Order should also let the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier know that they have done so. Donella can be contacted by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 01862 810 457.
Free-Will Envelopes: There are envelopes available for those who would like to use this method to donate to the church. Please speak to the treasurer, Donald Beaton or the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier.
Meanwhile, the Deacons Court would also urge anyone who pays tax to consider signing a Gift Aid form. This allows the church to get an additional 25% from the government, on any donations you make.
