Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery is at 7pm in the church hall.
Kirk Session: The Kirk Session meets at 7:15pm in Hilton Free Church
Tain Lunch Club: Tain Lunch Club meets at mid-day in the church hall. Team 3 on duty.
Joint Midweek Meeting Midweek Meeting will be at will be in Hilton at 7:30pm where there will be a presentation from Operation Mobilisation. (See note below.)
Casan Beaga: Casan Beaga (Parent and Toddlers) meet in the hall at 10.00am.

Prayer Group: Prayer Group meet as usual at David and Anne’s home at 11am.
There will be a service this evening at 7.30pm in the church conducted by Rev Alasdair Macleod, our guest preacher for the Communion Weekend. This will be followed by fellowship in the manse.

6.00pm: Rev. Alasdair Macleod. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the evening service.
Operation Mobilisation: This Wednesday we have speakers from OM with us who will give a presentation on the work of OM in the UK and overseas. OM is now an official mission partner of the Free Church and has 5000 workers serving in over 100 countries, as well as on board its ship, Logos Hope. There will be an opportunity to contribute to the work.
Tain Communion: Next weekend is the Tain Communion Weekend. Our guest preacher over the weekend will be Rev. Alasdair MacLeod from Smithton Free Church. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the evening service and when we will be joined by the Hilton end of the congregation.. The communion bread will be gluten-free from now on. There will be fellowship in the hall after the evening service. Meanwhile, if anyone connected to the congregation is considering professing their faith in Jesus for the first time, they should speak to a minister or elder before then.
Highland Foodbank: There will be an opportunity to donate food to the Highland Foodbank during the month of October. Items requested this time are :- Long Life Juice, Tins of potatoes, Tins of mince/stew, Oatcakes/Crackers, Tins Ham, Shower gel/ shampoo. Boxes will be at the church doors for any contributions.
Craft Group: The Craft Group will resume on Tuesday 24th September in Tain (church hall) , 2pm to 4.30pm . All welcome.
AGM: The Annual General Meeting of Tain and Fearn Free Church will now take place in Tain on Wednesday 25th September, and not as previously intimated. Copies of the accounts will be available at the door.
Tea Rota: We are looking for volunteers to go on the tea-rota for a Sunday morning. If you can help, please add your name for any date you can cover. The sheet is on the noticeboard in the hall.
Bible Study: The Study group meets next on Tuesday 24th September at 7.30pm at David and Anne’s, 10 Duthac Wynd, studying James 5:1-11.
2020 Calendars: The Fundraising calendars for 2020 are available in the hall priced at £5. Please put your payment in the blue moneybox.
Cheques: All cheques must now be made payable to – Tain and Fearn Free Church of Scotland.
Please do not put “Building Fund” on the cheque as the bank has changed its rules and will now return it. If you wish a cheque to go towards the Building Fund – please make that clear on the envelope.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3 recording sent via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on firstname.lastname@example.org stating which sermon you would like.
CDs can be ordered using the forms in the vestibule.
Alternatively you can listen to the morning sermons on the church YouTube channel. Morning sermons are usually added to our YouTube channel on Sunday afternoons. Some evening sermons are now being added.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order. Anyone who sets up a new Standing Order should also let the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier know that they have done so. Free-Will Envelopes: There are envelopes available for those who would like to use this method to donate to the church. Please speak to the treasurer, Donald Beaton or the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier.
Meanwhile, the Deacons Court would also urge anyone who pays tax to consider signing a Gift Aid form. This allows the church to get an additional 25% from the government, on any donations you make.
