Free Lunch:  The Free Lunch takes place in Hilton between 12 noon and 2 pm. Come along with a friend.


Craft Group: The Craft Group meets in the Tain hall from 2pm – 4:30pm. This will be the last meeting of this session.

Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery meets in  Tain Free Church Hall at 7.30pm.


Mid-week Meeting : Prayer and Bible Study at 7:30pm.


Prayer and Fellowship Time: Prayer Group meets as usual at 11am David and Anne’s house.

Wedding:   Congratulations to our assistant minister Andrew and his wife Eilidh who got married on Thursday at Dingwall Free Church.

Fisherfolk Festival Sale: We will have a Sales Table at the Fisherfolk Festival in Balintore this Saturday 15th June, selling Baking, Jams and Crafts.   We are looking for people to contribute these items.   If you can help on the day or contribute items, please speak to Catherine Maclean on 01862 850 086.

Fisherfolk Festival Service:   There will be a service of praise as usual on Sunday afternoon.   This will be at 2:30pm at Paterson’s Fishing Stores, which is between the Seaboard Hall and Hilton Free Church.   It will be taken by Rev. Alasdair MacAulay.

New Church Fund: The sum raised over the last two-month period was £12,830.   The previous two-month period was £7000.

Treasurer: Our treasurer Donald Beaton has served the congregation well for over a decade and has intimated that he wishes to relinquish that responsibility now.   We are looking for a new treasurer.   If you would be willing to consider serving the Lord in that capacity, or if you would like to know more about what would be involved, please speak to one of the ministers in the first instance.

Fearn Communion: The next communion weekend will be on 22nd and 23rd June.   We expect to have Rev. Roddy Rankin of the Free Church in Kyle with us then. If anyone connected with the congregation is considering professing their faith and taking communion for the first time, please speak to one of the ministers or elders before then.

Made with Love: There will be a one-day women’s conference at the Capstone in Alness on Saturday 15th June from 10am – 4:30pm.   The day will focus on our identity in Christ and will include, worship, prayer, testimony and fellowship.   Tickets which also cover the cost of lunch are £10 and are available from the Capstone.

Blythswood Open Day:   Blythswood will hold two Open-Days on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 20th June.   Anytime between 10am and 4pm, you can get a tour of their premises at Deephaven, Evanton and find out more about the work of the organisation. They are also looking for volunteers to do minor improvement to the depot during the week of 10th – 14th June.   If you can help, call Michelle on 01349 830 777.

Fundraising Calendar:   Thanks to everyone who contributed photos for the 2020 Fundraising Calendar. The photos for this year have now been chosen and the calendar will shortly be printed.

Mobile Phones: We are still collecting old mobile phones to raise funds. They should be dropped off in the box at church or given directly to Samuel Robertson.

Sermon Recordings:  If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3 sent  via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on tom@tain.co.uk stating which sermon you would like. CDs can be ordered using the forms in the vestibule.

Alternatively you can listen to the morning sermons on YouTube  These are usually added on Sunday afternoons.  Some evening sermons are now being added.

Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order. Anyone who sets up a new Standing Order should also let the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier know that they have done so. Donella can be contacted by email on donellaferrier@talktalk.net or by phone on 01862 810 457.

Free-Will Envelopes: There are sets of envelopes available for those who would like to use this method to donate to the church.   If anyone else wishes a set, please speak to one of the ministers.

Meanwhile, the Deacons Court would also urge anyone who pays tax to consider signing a Gift Aid form. This allows the church to get an additional 25% from the government, on any donations you make.
