Kirk-Session: The Kirk-Session will meet in the Tain manse at 7:30pm.
Prayer and Fellowship Time: The Prayer Group meet today as usual at David and Anne’s at 11am.
Fun Run: The Fun Run Fundraiser is on today in the grounds of Geanies House. To enter as an individual it is £5 and as a family £15. Registration opens at 9:30am and the run will begin at 10:30am. Tain Communion: The guest preacher at Tain communion next weekend is Rev. David Court, of Christ Church Edinburgh. The Saturday night service will be followed by fellowship in the manse. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the morning service. There will be fellowship in the hall following the evening service on Sunday. You are welcome to attend Tain next Sunday morning for the communion, even if you normally worship in Hilton.

Congregational Directory: If you have yet to return your form for the Directory, please do so today.
Treasurer: Our treasurer Donald Beaton has served the congregation well for over a decade and has intimated that he wishes to relinquish that responsibility now. We are looking for a new treasurer. If you would be willing to consider serving the Lord in that capacity, or if you would like to know more about what would be involved, please speak to one of the ministers in the first instance.
2020 Calendar: Planning has begun for the 2020 Fundraising Calendar. Could you please bear it in mind if you are taking photographs that would be suitable for it. These can be sent to Rona Grigg on email@example.com
Scottish Bible Society: The Chief Executive of the Scottish Bible Society, Elaine Duncan will speak at our congregational mid-week meeting in Hilton on Wednesday 15th May.
WFM Annual Meeting: A bus has been organised to take folk from the Highlands to the Women for Mission Annual Meeting on Thursday 18th May. The bus will depart from Knockbain Free Church in North Kessock at 8:30am and will be back around 9pm. The cost is £20. If you wish to book a space contact Marion Gray on 07717 452 226.
Holiday Club: We do not intend to have a holiday club this year so that the volunteers get a break.
Mobile Phones: We are still collecting old mobile phones to raise funds. They should be dropped off in the box at church or given directly to Samuel Robertson.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3 sent via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on firstname.lastname@example.org stating which sermon you would like. CDs can be ordered using the forms in the vestibule.
Alternatively you can listen to the morning sermons on YouTube These are usually added on Sunday afternoons. Some evening sermons are now being added.
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order. Anyone who sets up a new Standing Order should also let the Assistant Treasurer, Donella Ferrier know that they have done so. Free-Will Envelopes: There are sets of envelopes available for those who would like to use this method to donate to the church. If anyone else wishes a set, please speak to one of the ministers.
Meanwhile, the Deacons Court would also urge anyone who pays tax to consider signing a Gift Aid form. This allows the church to get an additional 25% from the government, on any donations you make.
