This is our communion weekend. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the morning service. Following the evening service, we will have fellowship in the hall to which all are welcome.

Children’s Church: Children for Creche and Sunday School go through to the hall from the start of the service today, since it is a communion morning.

Evening Prayer Group: Meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.
January Door Duty: Bill Ferrier and Samuel Robertson.
Craft Group: The Craft Group meets in the Tain hall from 2pm – 4:30pm.
Bible Study Group: The meet at 7.30pm at James and Murdina’s. The topic is Peter: Learning to Love, and the passage for study is John 13:31 – 14:4.
Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery is changing to meet at the slightly earlier time of 7.00pm in hall.
Tain Lunch Club: Tain Lunch Club resumes at midday. Team 3 will be on duty.
Walking Group: The Walking Group meet outside the church at 1:30pm.
Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study : Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study is in the hall at 7:30pm.
Casan Beaga: (Parent and Toddlers) meets in the Hall at 10 am. Snacks duty – Mary Mackay and June Grant
Prayer Group: Prayer Group meets at 11am at David and Anne’s house.

Communion Roll: We are grateful to the Lord for all who have joined us from the APC, most of whom worship at the Hilton end of the congregation. The following fifteen names have been added to the communion roll; David Bett, Ewart Clark, Andrew Durrand, Margaret Heptinstall, Isobel Joy, Uisdean Macleod, Flora MacKenzie, Mary MacKenzie, William MacKenzie, Kate MacKenzie, Roderick Robertson, Elizabeth Robertson, Donald Robertson, James Sangster and Gwen Sangster. We pray that the Lord will bless this union.
Postage Stamps: The congregation still collects used postage stamps to benefit The Highland Hospice and Blythswood Concern. The collection box is at the front door of the church. (Please leave at least ¼ inch of the envelope around the stamps).
Camps Brochures: Copies of the 2019 Free Church Camp’s Brochures are available in the hall. The Deacons Court makes a contribution of £100 per child to help with the cost.
New Church Fund: The total raised so far in December has been £3,300. We will report in January on the total in the fund at the end of year. Meanwhile, our own office-bearers will meet in the New Year, to discuss how best to proceed if the Trustee Loan Fund remains closed.
New Church Fundraising: The fundraising committee will meet on Thursday 31st January at 6:30pm. In the meantime, they would like to hear any suggestions that you have – and they are also looking for new people to join the committee. If you have ideas or are willing to help, please speak to Fiona Robertson in Tain who now chairs the committee or speak to one of the ministers.

Online Sermons: Sermons are now being added online weekly. The morning sermons tend to go up the same day they were preached. Evening sermons are beginning to be added now also. New Church – Fundraising Notices
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Gift Aid Forms: If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you. Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so. Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
