Tain Communion: This coming weekend is our communion. The services will be taken by our own ministers. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the Sunday morning service and we would encourage you to attend, even if you are not taking communion. Meanwhile, if anyone connected with the congregation wishes to profess their faith in Jesus and take communion for the first time, they should speak to one of the ministers or elders before then.
Church Calendars: The fundraising calendars for 2019 are available in the hall. The price remains at £5 which includes an envelope if you wish to post it. Please ensure that your money goes in the right box!
Postage Stamps: The congregation still collects used postage stamps to benefit The Highland Hospice and Blythswood Concern. The collection box is at the front door of the church. (Please leave at least ¼ inch of the envelope around the stamps).
Camps Brochures: Copies of the 2019 Free Church Camp’s Brochures are available in the hall. The Deacons Court makes a contribution of £100 per child to help with the cost.

New Church Fund: The total raised so far in December has been £3,300. We will report in January on the total in the fund at the end of year. Meanwhile, our own office-bearers will meet in the New Year, to discuss how best to proceed if the Trustee Loan Fund remains closed.
New Church Fundraising: The fundraising committee will meet on Thursday 31st January at 6:30pm. In the meantime, they would like to hear any suggestions that you have – and they are also looking for new people to join the committee. If you have ideas or are willing to help, please speak to Fiona Robertson in Tain who now chairs the committee or speak to one of the ministers.

New Church – Fundraising Notices
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Gift Aid Forms: If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you. Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so. Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.
