Church Calendars: The fundraising calendars for 2019 are now available in the hall. The price remains at £5 which includes an envelope if you wish to post it. Please ensure that your money goes in the right box!
Communion Roll: The following names have been added to the roll of communicant members – Jeanette Oliver and Donald Bain who worship in Hilton and Marion Macmartin who worships in Tain.
Tortured for Christ: The organisation, Release International, that works on behalf of Persecuted Christians will host a meeting in Tain Parish Church Hall this Friday, 23rd at 7:30pm. They will be showing the film Tortured for Christ, which is about Richard Wurmbrand’s 14 years in a communist prison. There is no charge for the event but there will be an opportunity to donate to the work of Release International.
Bible Study Group: The next Bible Study is scheduled for Tuesday 27th November at 7.30 at James’ and Murdina’s home. The topic is Peter: Learning to Believe, and the passage for study is Matthew 16:13-25.
The Record: Payment can be made for the church magazine The Record anytime between now and the end of the year. The cost for this year is £18. Please put it in an envelope with your name on, in the collection plate. Meanwhile the cost of The Record for next year will rise to £24 due to the increased volume of the magazine. If anyone new wishes to order a copy, or anyone wishes to cancel their subscription, please inform Kathleen MacInnes or one of the ministers before the end of November.
New Church Fundraising: The fundraising committee will meet early in the new year to arrange events for 2019. In the meantime, they would like to hear any suggestions that you have – and they are also looking for new people to join the committee. If you have ideas or are willing to help, please speak to Fiona Robertson in Tain who now chairs the committee or speak to one of the ministers.

Online Sermons: Sermons are now being added online weekly. The morning sermons tend to go up the same day they were preached. Evening sermons are beginning to be added now also. New Church – Fundraising Notices
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Gift Aid Forms: If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you. Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so. Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
