Children’s Church: Children for Creche and Sunday School go through to the hall after the second singing.

Evening Prayer Group: Meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.

Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery will meet at 7.30pm in the hall.


Tain Lunch Club: Tain Lunch Club will meet today at 12noon-2pm. Team 1 are on Duty.

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: The Meeting for Bible study and prayer will be at 7:30pm in the hall.


Casan Beaga: (Parent and Toddlers) Parent and Toddlers resumes today at 10am.   Snack duty:Clara Robertson and Flora MacKenzie

Thursday – The Kirk-Session will meet in Tain manse at 7pm.


Prayer Group: Prayer Group meets at 11am at David and Anne’s house.


Hilton Communion Preparatory Service : Hilton Communion Preparatory Service be at 7pm.

Sunday School:   The Sunday School children have been doing a project on The Parables during last term.  Their project folders are in the hall together with a  visual display for the wall. Everyone is welcome to have a look at them.

Tain Church Clean-Up: Thanks to those who helped out yesterday to give the church a thorough clean.

Fearn Communion: The communion weekend is on this coming weekend.   The guest preacher is Rev. Ewen Matheson who is minister of the Free Church in Cross, Isle of Lewis.

Blythswood Shoebox Appeal:  Blythswood is seeking volunteers to check and pack donated shoe boxes. If you think you can help with this please phone Blythswood on 01349 830 777.   Sorting will be carried out at the Evanton depot, at Maryburgh Free Church and at Culduthel Christian Centre in Inverness during November.

Bible StudyGroup:   The next meeting of the Bible Study Group is on Tuesday 13th November at 7:3-pm at James and Murdina’s.   The topic is Peter: Learning to trust, and the passage for study is Matt. 14:22-34.

Women for Mission: The WFM will meet on Friday, November 16th at 7:30 pm in Tain Free Church.  The speaker will be Claire Ross from Rosskeen, who will speak about her trip to Chile. All ladies are warmly invited.   Tea and coffee will be provided, and there will also be a Sales Table.

Creche Rota:  We have had a small number of new volunteers but are looking for more.   Please speak to Fiona Garvie, Lorna MacIver or the minister if you are willing to help.

Church Calendars: The fundraising calendars for 2019 are now available in the hall.   The price remains at £5 which includes an envelope if you wish to post it.   Please ensure that your money goes in the right box!

Online Sermons: Sermons are now being added online weekly.    The morning sermons tend to go up the same day they were preached.   Evening sermons are beginning to be added now also.  You can get them by clicking the ‘Sermons’ tab on our website, which will take you to our YouTube page –  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9E4Fzhc1_UjRBlpR-R6Svw


New Church – Fundraising Notices

Easy Fundraising:  We now have an easyfundraising account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk    then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.

Gift Aid Forms:  If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you.  Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so.  Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.


Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
