Creche Rota: We need more people to help on the creche rota. It is planned to make some changes, such as providing simple teaching materials that can be done with the infants. It is also intended that creche duty will only start once the children go through to Sunday School. There will be no need for those on duty to be in the hall from the start of the service, as we would like all the children to be in church then. Once we have additional personnel, we will draw up a new rota & provide more information for those who are on it. Please speak to Fiona Garvie, Lorna MacIver or the minister if you are willing to help.
WFM Pudding Evening: The first meeting of the WFM for this session will be held on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:30pm in Hilton Free Church. The speaker for the evening will be Fiona Christie, a former member of the congregation, who will speak about her work with children in Colombia. The ladies will also be serving several puddings as part of the evening. A warm welcome is extended to all ladies to come along. If you require transport, speak to Donella Ferrier. There is a list at the front door of the church if anyone would like to provide one of the puddings.
Bible Study Group: It is hoped to resume the Bible Study on Tuesday 11th September at 7:30pm in the home of James and Murdina Skinner, continuing the theme of the Fruit of the Spirit. The topic will be Gentleness and the passage for study is 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12.
Church Calendars: The fundraising calendars for 2019 are now available in the hall. The price remains at £5 which includes an envelope if you wish to post it. Please ensure that your money goes in the right box!
