Summer Sunday School: Thanks to all those who have helped cover the rota over the summer holidays.

Evangelism Training:   If you find talking about your faith scary and even embarrassing, then you are not alone.  Mission Director, David Meredith will lead a short course on some of the basic dos and don’ts of witnessing, this Saturday at the Capstone in Alness, from 10:30 – 1pm.  This session will introduce you to the basic elements of personal witnessing.  It will not answer all your questions or give you all the answers, but it will give you confidence to be more open about your faith.

Church Calendars: The fundraising calendars for 2019 are now available in the hall.   The price remains at £5 which includes an envelope if you wish to post it.   Please ensure that your money goes in the blue cash box that is with the calendars.   Please bear in mind that we will be looking for photos for the 2020 calendar in due course.

Church Upkeep: Thanks are due to those who painted the exterior of the church, the railings and boundary walls over the past fortnight. There has also been weeding, strimming and upkeep of the flower beds and planters done, which all helps to keep the church looking tidy. It is important to keep the property in good order, and if anyone is able to help with weeding, sweeping leaves etc through the autumn, please let us know. After the holidays, it is intended to set a date for the annual tidy-up at the old health centre.

Tain Communion: The Tain communion will be on the weekend of 23rd September.   The guest preacher is Rev. George MacAskill, APC.
