Tea/coffee are served in the hall
after the morning service today.
This weekend is our communion weekend. Our guest preacher, Rev. Iain Thomson of East Kilbride Free Church will lead both services today and will share his testimony in the hall after the evening service. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated during the morning service. The bread and wine will be served to those sitting in the area marked by the white cloth. Those intending to partake of the Lord’s Supper will be invited to move to this area at a particular point during the service if they are not already seated there.

Pre-school, Crèche and Sunday School- The children will go through to Sunday School and Creche after the second singing.

Free Lunch: The Free Lunch will take place in Hilton between 12 noon and 2 pm. Come along and bring a friend.
Craft Group : Craft Group meets in the Hall in Tain from 2 to 4.30 pm. All welcome.
Deacons Court: The Deacons Court will meet in the manse at 7pm.
Annual General Meeting: The Annual General Meeting of Tain and Fearn Free Church will take place in the church in Hilton at 7:30pm.
Prayer and Fellowship Time: Prayer Group meets at 11 am at David and Anne’s house.

Sunday School Prizegiving: The children will receive their books and certificates during the morning service next Sunday.
Highland Hospice: Our annual collection for the Highland Hospice will take place at the close of both services next Sunday.
Holiday Club: The Holiday Club will run on the first week in July from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. If you use Facebook, please help us raise the profile of it, by sharing the Holiday Club post that is on the our Facebook page. Application forms for any children attending can be downloaded and printed from the link on the Youth page here . They are also available from each school office or from Mairi MacAulay.
Holiday Club baking: If you are able to provide a tray-bake or baking for the Holiday Club, please see the signup sheet at the hall door.
Parking: To help with the parking situation on a Sunday morning, we have permission for you to park over at the entrance to William Paterson’s yard. Meanwhile, if you are first to park on the grass bank across the road, try and park as far in as possible, to allow for more cars to utilise that space.
Thanks for Sympathy: James Gordon and his father Donald would like to express their thanks for your prayers, cards and phone calls on the passing of James’ s mother, Isobel. Your support has been greatly appreciated.
Generation Mission: There are a small number of leaflets at the door introducing “Generation” the new name for the Mission Board of the Free Church. If you don’t get a leaflet or you wish more information, speak to one of the ministers. You can also get information on the Free Church website.
New Church – Fundraising Notices
Tain Gala Fundraiser: We will have a stall at Tain Gala on Saturday 30th June. If you are able to donate baking, the church hall in Tain will be open from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Friday 29th. Thanks to all who have already offered to help.
2019 Calendar: The photos for the 2019 Fundraising Calendar have been chosen and the calendars will be printed shortly to catch the summer tourist season. Thanks to all those who contributed photographs and please continue to do so, as planning begins for a 2020 calendar.
Gift Aid Forms: If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you. Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so. Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Church Finances: The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
