New Church Fund: There is a collection for the New Church Fund at the close of both services today

Children’s Church: Children for Creche & Sunday School go to the hall after the second singing.

Crèche duty today:  Mairi MacAulay and Murdina Skinner.

Crèche next Sunday: Mary Mackay and Rae Ross.

Evening Prayer Group: Meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.

Youth Fellowship: There is no Y.F. tonight but the young folk are invited to attend the Faith Mission Tent with us. Meet us at the Tain manse at 7:15pm.

June Door Duty: Bill Ferrier and Marcus MacIver.



Bible Study Group:

The Bible Study Group meets tonight at 7:30pm in David and Anne Wilkie’s home at 10 Duthac Wynd.   The topic is “Goodness” and the passage for study is Psalm 107.

Road to Recovery: Road to Recovery will meet at 7.30pm in the hall.


Tain Lunch Club: Lunch Club meets from 12pm-2pm. Team 1 is on duty.

Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study in the hall at 7:30 pm.


Casan Beaga. (Parent and Toddlers) meets in the Hall at 10 am. (Snacks duty – Cathie MacDonald and Murdina Skinner.)


Prayer Group: Prayer Group meets at 11am at David and Anne’s house.

Holiday Club:

There will be a meeting of Holiday Club leaders at the manse on Thursday night from 7pm – 8pm. This year’s Holiday Club will be the first week of July.   Application forms for any children attending are available from each school office or from Mairi MacAulay. Information and application forms can be  downloaded from the website HERE.  If you can help, please let Mairi know.

Tain Ladies Bible Study: If anyone would like to attend the Tain Ladies Bible Study Dinner organised annually by Netty Sinclair  please speak to Mairi as soon as possible. Names and menu requests need to be submitted before the 15th of June.

Faith Mission: The Faith Mission will hold its first meeting in the tent tonight at 7:30pm.  The tent is set up on the Highland Games Field near Lidl. For the next fortnight, there will be meetings each night except Saturdays, at 7:30pm.   Please go along to as many meetings as you can and bring a friend with you.  There will also be a Coffee Morning each Friday at 10:30am.   If anyone can provide a meal for 4 people any night during the next fortnight, please let Mairi know, or you can sign up for any evening using the following online link – https://takethemameal.com/JZIP7168     The meal can be served in your home or in the church hall.    Meanwhile, there will be a prayer meeting in Tain this week, but we have cancelled next week’s meeting in Tain to enable more people to go along to the tent.  There will be a prayer meeting in Hilton that night.

New Church Fundraising Notices

2019 Calendar: The photos for the 2019 Fundraising Calendar have been chosen and the calendars will be printed shortly to catch the summer tourist season.  Thanks to all those who contributed photographs and please continue to do so, as planning begins for a 2020 calendar.

Easy Fundraising:  We now have an easyfundraising account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk    then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.

Gift Aid Forms:  If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you.  Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so.  Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.


Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
