Congregational Meeting Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: Our Congregational Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study is in Hilton at 7:30 pm.


Casan Beaga. (Parent and Toddlers) meets in the Hall at 10 am. (Snacks duty – Janette Crowther and Elaine Currie).

Deacons Court: Deacons Court meets in the manse at 7 pm.


Prayer Group. Prayer Group meets at 11am at David and Anne’s house.

Tain Communion: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at today’s morning service.   Those who profess to love the Lord Jesus are welcome to join us in taking communion.   The bread and wine will only be served to those seated in the areas marked by the white cloth.   At a particular point during the service the minister will invite any who wish to take communion, but are not yet seated in this area, to make their way there during the singing of a psalm.

After the evening service tonight, our guest preacher Rev. Duncan MacLeod, will share some of his life-story in the church hall. All are welcome to stay behind for food and refreshments.    The name of Mrs Eileen Louden has been added to the communicant role of the congregation at this communion.

Bible Study: The group will meet again on 22nd May at James and Murdina’s. The subject is ‘Kindness’, and the passage for study is 2 Samuel Chapter 9.

Tain Ladies Bible Study: If anyone would like to attend the Tain Ladies Bible Study Dinner organised annually by Netty Sinclair  please speak to Mairi as soon as possible. Names and menu requests need to be submitted before the 15th of June.

Faith Mission: The Faith Mission is organising a two-week Tent Mission in this area during the month of June.   The tent will be set up in the Glenmorangie Games Field from the Sunday 3rd to Sunday 17th June with meetings every evening except Saturdays at 7:30 pm.

New Church Fundraising Notices

New Church Fund Total: We have the raised the sum of £180, 000 thus far. Almost £12,000 has been spent on professional and planning fees, leaving £168,000 in the New Church Account.

Easy Fundraising:  We now have an easyfundraising account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk    then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.

Gift Aid Forms:  If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you.  Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so.  Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.


Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
