Tain Lunch Club: Lunch Club meets from 12pm-2pm. Team 3 is on duty.

Congregational Prayer Meeting and Bible Study:  Congregational Meeting for Prayer and Bible Study in hall at 7:30 pm.


Casan Beaga. (Parent and Toddlers) meets in the Hall at 10 am. (Snacks duty – Fiona Garvie and CJ Wood.).


Prayer Group. All are welcome for prayer and fellowship in the home of David and Anne Wilkie, 10 Duthac Wynd, at 11am

Saturday – Car Boot Sale at the Old Health Centre from 10 am to 2 pm. See note below.

Rosskeen Ladies Meeting: This will take place tomorrow night, Monday 16th April at 7.30 p.m. The speaker will be Mrs Sarah Johnston, Mission Co-ordinator for the Free Church.

Bible Study Group: The group will meet again after the school holidays on Tuesday 24th April at 7.30pm at James and Murdina’s home.  The subject is Peace, and the passage for study is Isaiah 43: 1-7.

New Church Update: Our planning application for the New Church was approved by Highland Council.  This is great news and we give thanks to the Lord for ensuring the application progressed without hindrance.   We continue to trust that he will help us bring the project to fruition. The Project Team will now instruct the architect to proceed to Building Warrant stage.

Bulletin Items: Any items for inclusion in the weekly bulletin should be submitted by Thursday evening at the latest.

New Church Fundraising Notices

Car Boot Sale:  : Please invite friends and neighbours to come along to the sale this Saturday at the Old Health Centre Car Park.   Set up from 9 am. Selling from 10 am to 1 pm.   Packing up from 1 pm – 2 pm.

All electrical items for the car boot sale should be PAT tested. There will be a box for collecting electrical items at both the Tain and Hilton Church Halls from Wednesday 11th to Wednesday 18th April. The items will be tested on Friday 20th April and can be collected from the Tain Church Hall on Saturday morning 21st between 9am and 10am.

If you have stuff you wish to donate for the sale, the following people are prepared to sell it for you – Alice Fraser; Morag Matheson; Irene Kennedy; Catherine Walker; Mairi MacAulay; Ina Maclean; Catherine Maclean; Jeanette Oliver; Dina Macdonald; Susan Clyne; Fiona Robertson; Mary Mackay; Linda Bousfield.

Church Calendars: Planning has already begun to produce a fundraising calendar for 2019. It would be much appreciated if you could send any suitable images to Rona at – catrionagrigg@btinternet.com

Fun-Run Fund-Raiser: We will host a 2k and a 5K Fun Run (or walk)  for individuals and families on Saturday 5th May at Geanies House. There is now a sign-up sheet on our website with booking and payment instructions. Click  here  to get more information and to sign-up. Easy Fundraising:  We now have an easyfundraising account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk    then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.

Gift Aid Forms:  If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you.  Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so.  Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.


Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
