We are very pleased to welcome you to our service today.

after the morning service today.


Services today:

10.00 am –  Rev. Alasdair MacAulay

Pre-school, Crèche and Sunday School- The children will go through to Sunday School and Creche after the second singing.

Youth Fellowship: The YF meets tonight at 7:30 pm at Rod and Emma’s in Hilton.



Free Lunch: The Free Lunch will run in Hilton between 12 noon and 2 pm tomorrow. Come along with a friend!


The Craft Group The Craft Group meets in the hall in Tain from 2 – 4:30pm.

The Bible Study Group The Bible Study Group meets at 7.30 pm in James & Murdina’s, 28 St. Vincent Road. The subject is “Joy”, and the passage for study is Luke 24:33-53.


Prayer Meeting and Bible Study: The Seaboard Joint Prayer Meeting will be in the UF at 7:30 pm.


Prayer and Fellowship Time: All are welcome for prayer and fellowship in the home of David and Anne Wilkie, 10 Duthac Wynd, Tain at 11am

Coffee Morning: Thanks to all who helped in any way with yesterday’s Coffee Morning which raise the superb sum of £772.

Proposed Change to Evening Service Time:   The preference slips will soon be collated, and the Kirk-Session will then decide on whether to change the evening service time, for a trial period.

Seaboard Hall Easter Service:  The Easter Service will be held as usual in the Seaboard Hall.  The Red Team ( Susan, Emma, Maureen) is on duty from the Free Church to do teas.

New Church Update: Our planning application for the New Church in Tain was approved by Highland Council in the last few days.   This is great news and we give thanks to the Lord for ensuring the application progressed without hindrance.   We continue to trust that he will help us bring the project to fruition.

New Church Fund:   There will be a collection for the New Church Fund at the close of both services next Sunday.    We encourage you to give what you can to this project & to pray for the Project Team as they meet this week to decide on how to progress this to the next stage.

New Church Fundraising Notices

Asda Tokens: The Asda Green Tokens Challenge continues until the end of the month.   The container will have been emptied, so please continue to add your tokens until the end of March, so that we can secure a £500 donation.

Church Calendars:  Planning has already begun to produce a fundraising calendar for 2019.  It would be much appreciated if you could send any suitable images to Rhona at – catrionagrigg@btinternet.com

Car Boot Sale: This will be on 21st April from 10 am – 2 pm.   If you can bring along a boot full of stuff to sell in aid of the New Church, please sign up on the sheet at the door to help the planning for the day.

Fun-Run Fund-Raiser: It is intended to host a 5K fun run for individuals and families on Saturday 5th May at Geanies House. If you can help with taking booking and payment or with organising the event, please speak to Isla Scamen on 851 839 or 07779 991 132

Easy Fundraising:  We now have an “easyfundraising” account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk     then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church

Gift Aid Forms:  If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you.  Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so.   Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.


Church Finances:  The Deacons Court would like to encourage those who contribute to the church to consider doing so by Standing Order.
