Free Lunch : Their will be no Free Lunch this Monday because of the school holidays. Free Lunch starts again on 23rd October.
Northern Presbytery meets in Brora Free Church at 7:30 pm.
Congregational Prayer Meeting and Bible Study is at 7:30pm. This month it is in Tain. We will be looking at the 4th of the Five Points of Calvinism – Irresistible Grace.
Prayer and Fellowship Time: All are welcome for prayer and fellowship in the home of David and Anne Wilkie, 10 Duthac Wynd, at 11am

Induction: We are delighted that Rev. Andrew MacLeod has accepted a call to be our assistant minister. It is expected that his induction will take place in the Seaboard villages on Friday 3rd November. The time and venue will be confirmed by Presbytery this Tuesday. If anyone wishes to add their name to the call, today will be the final opportunity to do so.
Presentation: There will be an opportunity to contribute to a presentation to Andrew, at the close of both services on Sunday 22nd October.
Hilton Manse Clean-Up: It is proposed to give the Hilton manse a thorough clean inside and outside on Saturday 21st October at 9am. This will require as many people as possible for cleaning, DIY tasks and gardening. If you are able to help but cannot make that day, please contact David Merrick to make other arrangements.
U.F. Holiday Club: Guardians of Ancora will run this coming week, from Mon 16th-Fri 20th Oct from 10 am – noon.
Baptism: We will have a baptism service In Hilton on the morning of Sunday 29th October.
WFM Fundraising: The WFM sales table and Mission Boxes raised the sum of £162:78 last month.
The Record: There has been a delay in getting The Record for October due to the editor undergoing surgery.
Youth Cafe AGM: The Tain & District Youth Cafe AGM will be held on Monday 6th November 2017. The meeting will be in the Youth Cafe starting at 7.30 pm and there will be refreshments afterwards.
Bible Study: The next Bible Study will be on Tuesday, 24th Oct at 7:30 pm at the home of David and Anne Wilkie, 10 Duthac Wynd. The passage for study is Philippians 1 verses 12-30. Each study is self-contained and the aim is to generate informal discussion. Advance preparation for the study is not necessary and no-one will be expected to speak unless they wish to.
New Church Plans: The plans will be on display in the church hall. If you wish to give feedback, please fill in one of the sheets that are through in the hall.
ETS Courses: Edinburgh Theological Seminary will begin its Saturday Lectures in mid-September.There is a leaflet on the notice-board and a list of the subjects covered. The course can be done online at a time that suits the individual. Although the courses have now started you can still sign up for them and catch-up online for any lectures missed. ETS also has an Access to Theology course on a Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, September to May and this can also be done by distance learning. Also available to do remotely is a course on Presbyterianism. You can study the literature or speak to the minister if you wish more information.

Calendars: 2018 Calendars are now available and can be purchased anytime. They cost £5.00 Thanks to all those who contributed photos and please continue to take photos which may be used in future years.
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church
Gift Aid Forms: Please consider completing a Gift Aid Form if you are a tax payer and you donate to the church.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3, via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on email@example.com stating which sermon you would like.
