Youth Fellowship: The Y.F. meets in the manse in Tain tonight at 7:30 pm.
Free Lunch : The Free Lunch will take place in Hilton tomorrow between 12 noon and 2pm. Come along with a friend.
Craft Group meet in the Hall in Tain from 2 to 4.30 pm. All welcome.
House Bible Study:Bible Study at David and Anne Wilkie’s, 10 Duthac Wynd at 7:30 pm. (See Note below)
Midweek Meeting : The Joint Seaboard Prayer Meeting is in the Free Church at 7:30 pm and will be taken by Rev. A. MacAulay

New Church Fund: There will be an opportunity to contribute to the New Church Fund at the close of both services next Sunday (1st Oct).
House Bible Study: The Bible Study begins this Tuesday, 26th September at 7:30 pm at the home of David and Anne Wilkie, 10 Duthac Wynd. The first study will be an introduction to the church at Philippi from Acts 16:6-34. Each study is self contained and the aim is to generate informal discussion. Advance preparation for the study is not necessary and no-one will be expected to speak unless they wish to.
Assistant Minister: Northern Presbytery will meet with the congregation to oversee the signing of a call to Rev. Andrew MacLeod to be our assistant minister. This meeting will take place in Tain Free Church on Wed 4th Oct at 7:30pm. If you are unable to attend, but wish to show your support, you can sign a mandate which is available at the door
New Church Plans: The plans will be on display in the church hall. If you wish to give feedback, please fill in one of the sheets that are through in the hall.
Northern Convention: The convention will take place in Castle Street Church, Dingwall from Sun 24th – Thurs 28th September. The main speaker is Rev. Ian Hamilton. More details on the notice board poster.
Baking Sale: The Co-op has offered to host a baking stall in their High Street store on 29th September to raise funds for our new church. We must provide the baking. If you can bake for that date, please speak to Mairi.
ETS Courses: Edinburgh Theological Seminary will begin its Saturday Lectures in mid-September.There is a leaflet on the notice-board and a list of the subjects covered. The course can be done online at a time that suits the individual. Although the courses have now started you can still sign up for them and catch-up online for any lectures missed. ETS also has an Access to Theology course on a Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, September to May and this can also be done by distance learning. Also available to do remotely is a course on Presbyterianism. You can study the literature or speak to the minister if you wish more information.
Africa Inland Mission: A.I.M. will host a dramatic presentation of the life story of Hudson Taylor, in Tain Parish Church on Saturday 14th Oct at 7:30 pm. There are flyers with more information at the door.

Calendars: 2018 Calendars are now available and can be purchased anytime. They cost £5.00 Thanks to all those who contributed photos and please continue to take photos which may be used in future years.
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church
Gift Aid Forms: Please consider completing a Gift Aid Form if you are a tax payer and you donate to the church.
Sermon Recordings: If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3, via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on firstname.lastname@example.org stating which sermon you would like.
