Family service: This morning we mark the end of the Holiday Club with a Family Service. The service will be primarily geared towards children and they will play a part in the service.
Holiday Club: Thanks to everyone who played a part in ensuring this year’s Holiday Club went ahead. A large number of people at both ends of the congregation were involved in various aspects of it. Your help made a difference and was appreciated.
Signing the Call: The congregation this week agreed to call Rev Mark Macleod as their assistant minister. If you were unable to attend on Wednesday evening and you would like to add your name to the call, then you can still do so today.
The Hilton Manse: has now been vacated and work will begin to prepare it for an assistant minister.
Tain Communion: The date of the September Communion has been changed from the 4th Sunday of the month, to the third Sunday, for this year only. Tain Communion will be on the weekend of 16th and 17th September. The guest preacher is Rev. Iver Martin.
New Church Fundraising Events
Calendars: 2018 Calendars are now available and can be purchased anytime. They cost £5.00 Thanks to all those who contributed photos and please continue to take photos which may be used in future years.
Easy Fundraising: We now have an easyfundraising account. If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you. You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church.
Gift Aid Forms: Along with your bulletin today is a Gift Aid Form. If you donate money to the church and you are a tax-payer – the congregation can gain additional income at no cost to you. Therefore we would urge you to fill in this Gift Aid Form unless you have already done so. Last year we received almost £20,000 back from the government in Gift Aid.
Thank-you for attending our service today.
Note: There is a loop system in the church. We stand to sing and remain seated for prayer.
