Prayer meeting and Bible Study. Meeting in the church in Tain at 7:30 pm to sign a call to an assistant minister. (See Notice)

Holiday Club: Holiday Club runs all this week in Tain and Hilton.  Please pray for this event. If you are helping with the Club, we need help to set up the school hall on Monday morning, from 8.30am onward

Holiday Club baking: There is a sign-up sheet in the Hall for anyone who can help with traybakes, etc.

Family Service:  Next Sunday will be a Family Service to mark the end of the Holiday Club.  The service will be primarily geared towards the children and although there will be crèche, there will be no Sunday School.    

The Hilton Manse has now been vacated and work will begin to prepare it for an assistant minister. 

New Members:  Two new members have been added to the communion roll of the congregation at the  Communion.   Mr Hugh MacDonald by profession of faith and Mrs Betty Lochhead by certificate from another congregation. 

Tain Gala Stall:  Yesterday’s stall at Tain Gala raised £255.00

Signing a Call:  Northern Presbytery has agreed to oversee the signing of a call for an assistant minister, for Tain and Fearn Free Church.  Presbytery will meet in hunc effectum with the congregation to moderate in an open call, in the Free Church in Tain, on Wednesday 5th July at 7:30 pm. 

Tain Communion:  The date of the September Communion has been changed from the 4th Sunday of the month, to the third Sunday, for this year only.   Tain Communion will be on the weekend of 16th and 17th September.    The guest preacher is Rev. Iver Martin.

New Church Fundraising Events

Calendars 2018 Calendars are now available and can be purchased anytime.   They cost £5.00 Thanks to all those who contributed photos and please continue to take photos which may be used in future years.

Easy Fundraising:  We now have an easyfundraising account.   If you shop online, the church can gain a donation for every purchase you make from numerous retailers, at no cost to you.   You can sign up at the following site easyfundraising.org.uk     then follow the simple instructions to join. This service is free every time for both yourself and the church

Gift Aid Forms:  Please consider completing a Gift Aid Form if you are a tax payer and you donate to the church.

Sermon Recordings:  If anybody wishes a copy of any sermon as an MP3, via e-mail – please e-mail your request to Tom Walker on tom@tain.co.uk stating which sermon you would like.
