       Sunday School and Crèche –  Children for Creche and Sunday School go to the hall after second singing.

       Evening Prayer Group: This meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.  

       Missionary Prayer Notes: The Prayer Notes for February are available at the door.

       February Door Duty: John Ross and John Garvie. 


                          Craft Group meet in the Hall from 2 to 4.30 pm.  All welcome.

                        Road to Recovery  Road to Recovery will meet in hall at 7.30pm                          


                        Tain lunch Club . Tain Lunch Club meets this week  from 12pm-2pm. Team 3 is on duty.

                        Congregational Meeting in the church at 7:30 pm.in the church. See note below.


                        Casan Beaga. The Parent and Toddler Group meets in hall at 10.00am.

Congregational Meeting   There will be a congregational meeting on Wednesday night (15th Feb) to seek the congregation’s approval for plans to seek permission from the General Assembly for an assistant minister.   As well as the obvious benefit to the congregation, the cost implication will be explained and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the meeting.   This is at 7:30 pm in the church.    

Children’s Fundraising:  The whiteboard, in the Church Hall, on which the children stick their coins raised £74.  

New Church Donation The New Church Fund recently received a donation of £12,500 in memory of the late Mr William MacLeod, who was a member of the congregation.

New Church Fundraising Events

Auction Deadline:   The forms with your suggestions for contributions to the auction were due to have been returned last week.  Please fill them in and return them as soon as possible with any suggestions that you have.  This will allow the Fundraising Committee to begin approaching any businesses and individuals that no-one else has suggested.  There are additional forms at the door if you have mislaid the one you got.

2018 Calendars Scenic photos for the 2018 calendar should be sent to        catrionagrigg@btinternet.com

Soup Lunch Fundraiser:  There will be a soup lunch in the church hall in Hilton a week Saturday, 25th February to raise funds for the new church.   There will be soup, warm rolls and also tea, coffee and home baked loaves & gingerbread.   Helpers are required to provide soup or loaves and to serve on the day.  Please speak to Catherine MacLean if you can help – 01862 850 086
