       Evening Prayer Group: This meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.  

       Youth Fellowship: The YF meets in the manse at Tain tonight at 7:30 pm

       Missionary Prayer Notes: The Prayer Notes for February are available at the door.

       February Door Duty: John Ross and John Garvie.

       Camps Brochure: The Free Church Camps Brochure for 2017 is now out and is available through in the hall.  

       New Church Fund: There will be an opportunity to contribute to the New Church Fund at the close of both services this Sunday.


                        WFM meet in the hall at 2:30pm – The speakers are Rev. Donald Mackenzie and John Skinner. All ladies most welcome.

                        Road to Recovery  Road to Recovery will meet in hall at 7.30pm                          


                        Tain lunch Club . Tain Lunch Club meets this week  from 12pm-2pm. Team 2 is on duty.

                        Prayer Meeting & Bible Study  Bible Study and prayer meeting  in the hall at 7:30 pm.


                        Casan Beaga. The Parent and Toddler Group meets in hall at 10.00am.

 Children’s Fundraising:  The whiteboard, in the Church Hall, on which the children stick their coins raised £74.  

2018 Calendars: The 2017 Calendars have sold out and once all of them have been paid, this will have raised almost £700 for the New Church Fund.  Planning for the 2018 Calendar has already begun and it is hoped to have some the Calendar printed in time to sell it at summer events such as the Tain Gala and Seaboard Gala.   With that in mind any new photos that you take this year should be sent to Rona Grigg by 15th May with the date photo was taken.  Please email Rona on       catrionagrigg@btinternet.com

Congregational Meeting The Kirk Session and Deacons Court have formally agreed to seek the congregation’s approval to apply for permission to call an assistant minister.  There will be a congregational meeting held for this purpose on Wednesday 15th February in the Tain church at 7:30 pm. 

Rosskeen Ladies Fellowship:  Katie Forbes MSP will be speaking at Rosskeen tomorrow night (Mon 6th Feb) on the subject of “Wisdom and Guts – What’s required to be a Public Christian”  7:30 pm in the church hal.l

New Church Fundraising:  There are copies of the Fundraising Committee newsletter along with the information about the auction available at the door, if you missed it last week. Alternatively you can find it on the church website under New Building Project.  

Mission Support Group:  The Inverness and North, Free Church Mission Support Group will host its annual lunch on Saturday, 11 February at 12.30 pm in Knockbain Free Church, North Kessock. This will be raising funds for the Building Project at Lima Evangelical Seminary, a growing Christian University in Peru. The speaker at the lunch will be Rev Iver Martin, Principal of Edinburgh Theological College.
