National Prayer Day:  This Wednesday, 30th November has been designated as a National Day of Prayer & Fasting by the Free Church to pray for our nation and for the church.   As well as our evening prayer meeting we intend to hold a morning meeting for prayer both in Tain and Hilton between 8am and 9am.  We would encourage as many as possible to come along to these meetings.  You can drop in at any time during the morning meeting and leave when you need to.  There is a list of prayer points at the door.

Prayer Meetings:   The usual pattern of mid-week meetings in Tain is as follows:  On the first Wednesday of the month we have a joint meeting with the APC, alternating between churches.  On the third Wednesday, we have the Congregational Prayer Meeting where the Tain and Fearn ends of the congregation join; and this alternates between Tain and Hilton.  Every other Wednesday, the meeting is in our own hall in Tain.

New Church Fund:   The final collection of this year for the New Church Fund takes place next Sunday.   Donations for the new building should be put in the plate as you leave the service or in a marked envelope as you enter.

May Nicolson:  May Nicolson and friends from the Preshal Trust will be in Dornoch Free Church tomorrow night (Monday 28th Nov) at 7:30pm.   All Welcome.

Road to Recovery Christmas Meal:  There is a sign-up sheet at the door if you are able to provide something for the Road to Recovery Christmas Meal a week on Tuesday – 6th Dec.   Any food can be taken to the hall from 3pm that afternoon.

Fundraising Calendar:  The church calendar which includes scenic views from around the highlands is available now.   There are copies in the hall.   The price is £5.  Put your payment in an envelope in the collection plate with your name and “Calendars” written on it.  Cheques should be made payable to Tain and Fearn F.C. New Church Fund.

Jewellery Collection:  The New Church Fundraising Committee is organising a collection of unwanted jewellery, gold, silver or platinum, as well as disused silver cutlery and any watches or clocks. Broken or damaged items can be contributed also.  There will be a box at the door and another near the hall door to receive items.  It is best to put smaller items inside an envelope.

Mobile Phone Collection:  Old mobile phones are also being collected as they can be sold to raise funds.   There is a box at both doors for any old mobiles you may have lying about.  Please erase any data and removes the sim card.   Do not include phone chargers.
