It is intended to clear weeds, moss and litter from around the old Health Centre to prevent it from becoming more of an eyesore. This will now take place this Saturday 22th October from 10am. If you are able to help, please come along. It would be helpful if you could bring any of the following with you; spades, shovels, barrows, garden refuse bags, buckets, or a trailer. A petrol strimmer would also be useful.
Jewellery Collection: The New Church Fundraising Committee is organising a collection of unwanted jewellery, gold, silver or platinum, as well as disused silver cutlery and any watches or clocks. Broken or damaged items can be contributed also. There will be a box at the door and another near the hall door to receive items. It is best to put smaller items inside an envelope.
Midweek Offering: All donations in the plate at the midweek meeting will be put towards the New Church Fund from now on.
Indoor Sale: There will be an indoor “Car Boot Sale” as a fundraiser for the New Church on Saturday 5th November from 10am to 12 noon, in the church hall.
