Evening Prayer Group: This meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.

Crèche Next Sunday: Irene Kennedy and June Grant.
Next Sunday: Tain Communion: The visiting preacher over next weekend is Rev. David Meredith, who is Missions Director for the Free Church. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Sunday evening. Anyone wishing to profess their faith should speak to the minister.
Tuesday: Road to Recovery meet in hall at 7.30pm
Wednesday: Tain lunch Club – Team 3 on duty
Congregational Meeting for Bible Study & Prayer at 7:30 pm in Tain.
Thursday There is no Parent and Toddler Group because of the school in-service day.
The Kirk-Session will meet at 7pm in the manse.
Saturday : There will be a communion preparatory service at 7:30pm in the church. This will be followed be fellowship in the manse to which all are welcome.
Protected Study Time: The Kirk-Session recently agreed that the minister should have protected study time. For that reason, they ask that the congregation avoid visiting the manse during mornings unless the matter is urgent. You are most welcome to visit at any other time.
Seaboard Hall Fund–Raiser: There will be a table-top sale in the Seaboard Hall this Saturday 24th September. We will have a table there. Donations of hand-made items and new or nearly new items to sell should be passed on to Maureen Ross 832 578 or Catherine MacLean 850 086 – or brought to the hall here in ample time. No baking for this sale.
ETS – Access to Theology Course: ETS – Access to Theology Course: Edinburgh Theological Seminary is running an access to theology course every Tuesday night from 7 – 9pm. This can be accessed remotely and the course will study the 5 major theological disciplines: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology and Practical Theology. There is time for discussion and access to online resources. An application form is available on the following link, but you should register as soon as possible so as not to fall behind.
COG: The Christian Outreach Group in Tain will be on Wednesday 28th September between 9.30 and 10.30 am at the Youth Cafe in Tain.
Inverness & North Mission Support: Through the various events held in the last year including the Coffee Morning at Hilton the Mission Support Group raised £4500 to support Adam in his work in Central Asia. The project to be supported in the year ahead is the Evangelical Seminary in Lima, Peru where Rev. Donnie Smith is principal.
Donation Board: There is a donation board in the hall that was prepared so that the children could be involved in fund-raising for the New Church Project. Adults may help them with contributions. There is double-sided tape available to add your coins onto the board.
Highland Foodbank: Collection during the month of September. Items requested are Oatcakes/ Crackers, Long Life Fruit Juice, Tinned Ham, Tinned Rice Pudding, Pasta sauces.
Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Leaflets are available at the door. Completed boxes can be delivered to the Church or to the Blythswood Shop by Friday 4th November.
