Evening Prayer Group: This meets at 5.35 pm in the Hall.
Youth Fellowship: The YF meets tonight in the manse at the new time of 7:30 pm. The speaker is Darren Graham from Inverness who will share his testimony. Anyone from p.6 upwards is welcome to attend.
Tuesday – Road to Recovery meet in hall at 7.30pm
Craft Group resumes on Tuesday 13th September in the Church Hall from 2pm to 4.30pm. All welcome.
Wednesday – Tain lunch Club – Team 2 on duty
Bible Study & Prayer Meeting in the hall at 7:30 pm.
Thursday –Casan Beaga: (Parent and Toddlers) meets in the Hall at 10am

Calendar – Members of the Fundraising Team will meet in the church in Tain after the Prayer Meeting on Wednesday to select the photos that will be included in the calendar. Others are welcome to attend and give their view if they wish. Thanks to all those who have contributed photos. The deadline for submission is Tuesday. Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
Donation Board: There is a donation board in the hall that was prepared so that the children could be involved in fund-raising for the New Church Project. Adults may help them with contributions. There is double-sided tape available to add your coins onto the board.
New Church Fund Account: There is now a dedicated bank account for the New Church Fund which people can contribute to at any time. If anyone would prefer to give by Standing Order you can arrange that with your bank.

The total raised so far is £85,000 with a target of £100,000 by the end of the year.
Protected Study Time: The Kirk-Session recently agreed that the minister should have protected study time. For that reason, they ask that the congregation avoid visiting the manse during mornings unless the matter is urgent. You are most welcome to visit at any other time.
Seaboard Hall Fund–Raiser: There will be a table-top sale in the Seaboard Hall on Sat 24th September. We will have a table there. Donations of hand-made items and new or nearly new items to sell should be passed on to Maureen Ross 832 578 or Catherine MacLean 850 086 – or brought to the hall here in ample time. No baking for this sale.
Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Leaflets are available at the door. Completed boxes can be delivered to the Church or to the Blythswood Shop by Friday 4th November.
Highland Foodbank: Collection during the month of September. Items requested are Oatcakes/ Crackers, Long Life Fruit Juice, Tinned Ham, Tinned Rice Pudding, Pasta sauces.
ETS – Access to Theology Course: Edinburgh Theological Seminary is running an access to theology course every Tuesday night from 7 – 9pm. This can be accessed remotely and the course will study the 5 major theological disciplines: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology and Practical Theology. There is time for discussion and access to online resources. Tain Communion: The Communion weekend is 24th & 25th September. The visiting preacher will be Rev. David Meredith, who is Missions Director for the Free Church. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated on Sunday evening. Anyone wishing to profess their faith, should speak to the minister.
COG: The Christian Outreach Group in Tain will be on Wednesday 28th September between 9.30 and 10.30 am at the Youth Cafe in Tain.
WFM – The WFM Away Day takes place on Saturday 17th September at the Jury’s Inn in Inverness from 9:15 to 4pm. The theme for the day is “Blessed to be a Blessing” – the guest speakers are Jean Garland and Cathy Steed. Tickets are £25 and include a soup & sandwich lunch.
